Desde el principio, el objetivo de CrossFit ha sido fraguar un fitness amplio, genérico e integrador. Buscamos diseñar un programa que prepare de la mejor forma posible a quienes entrenan para enfrentarse a cualquier contingencia física; prepararlos no solo para lo desconocido, sino también para lo imprevisible
CrossFit es: “movimientos funcionales, constantemente variados, realizados a alta intensidad”. Esa es nuestra prescripción. Los movimientos funcionales son patrones de reclutamiento motor universales; son realizados en una onda de contracción desde el core (centro) a las extremidades; y son movimientos compuestos, es decir, multiarticulares. Son acciones locomotrices naturales, efectivas y eficientes del cuerpo y de objetos externos.
